OAuth, the token based authentication system, now available as a public beta for Twitter Apps! This was just
announced (via Twitter, naturally) by
Alex Payne, Twitter API's lead.
An example of the authentication process is seen above, with TipJoy.
Josh;s Verdict: Simple, no password required. Now we'll just have for other Apps to use this, to reduce abuse.
